Tokyo, Japan March 21, 2001 David Keuning,
VP of Asia-Pacific Development at Inovaware, a leading
supplier of IP billing and customer lifecycle management
software, will be speaking at the fourth annual 3G
Mobile Systems Asia-Pacific Conference taking place
at the Singapore Grand Hyatt from April 2-4.
Keuning will discuss the convergence of billing,
customer care, and other customer-centric processes
integral to providing mobile 3G services, and how
the resulting hybrid infrastructure can be leveraged
to maximize customer satisfaction, increase revenue
and reduce churn.
"There is a progressively blurring distinction between
the defined boundaries of customer care and billing,"
said Keuning. "For mobile 3G service providers, this
means that a single comprehensive infrastructure can
automate and facilitate all customer-related tasks,
allowing the provider a sharper competitive edge and
enabling faster reaction to market dynamics."
Keuning will use NetTime Corporation, an NTT DoCoMo
subsidiary and provider of wireless content as an
example of an emerging 3G service provider utilizing
Inovawareís comprehensive billing and customer lifecycle
management platform, PRISM, as a critical component
of their OSS/BSS framework.
"Providers of mobile 3G services need to be able
to quickly implement creative new pricing structures,
introduce new services, bill customers, and guide
revenue allocation, while at the same time efficiently
manage all aspects of the customer lifecycle," said
Keuning. "A single solution that accomplishes this
is more scalable, extensible, and can be implemented
faster and at a lower cost than multiple disparate
systems."
Inovaware's award-winning Synchronized Business Infrastructure
approach integrates complimentary functionality necessary
for providers of 3G mobile and other Internet services
to effectively collect payment and manage subscribers.
Inovaware supplies the only software platform that
merges billing, rating, provisioning and customer
care with help desk, knowledge base and marketing
automation systems.
