Honolulu, HI June 13, 2001 Inovaware,
a leading provider of billing and customer care software
for providers of Internet and next-generation communication
services, announced the latest version of its billing
and customer management solution, PRISM Version
6.3 introduces new B2B functionality, expanded multinational
features, a tightly integrated marketing campaign
manager, and enhanced multi-company support.
These enhancements buttress Inovaware's Synchronized
Business
Infrastructure, a framework that incorporates
the company's PRISM and Resolve products. Resolve
is a knowledge base and trouble ticketing system that
tightly integrates with PRISM. Together, the two products
manage the entire customer lifecycle, incorporating
complex billing, rating, provisioning, marketing automation,
and full customer care into a single platform.
Salesforce.com, a leading provider of hosted customer
relationship management solution, has already implemented
PRISM 6.3, and will leverage the software's expanded
B2B functionality, multi-language invoicing, and integrations
with key global financial institutions as it introduces
new business applications and expands its business
to Europe and Asia.
New features such as purchase order capabilities
and volume quantities of service support will help
service providers efficiently market their services
to business customers. These two features address
two critical concerns faced by B2B service providers:
ease of service ordering and payment flexibility.
With PRISM 6.3, service providers enable their business
clients to enter quantity amounts when ordering services,
simplifying the process of service registration for
multiple users within one enterprise. Purchase order
support enables service providers to offer another
payment option to business customers, without increased
risk of revenue leakage.
PRISM's new campaign manager will allow service
providers to leverage the information in their existing
billing database. Based on unlimited criteria including
customer demographics and service-level data, campaigns
can be established for marketing and customer retention
purposes. Using this new technology, service providers
will be able to increase profits and reduce churn
by up-selling, cross-selling, and conducting customer
loyalty campaigns across their existing customer base.
Version 6.3 also introduces enhanced multi-company
support that streamlines the process of managing the
billing and customer care needs of multiple companies
or virtual companies. Increasingly, providers of Internet
services, such as ISPs and web hosting companies are
sustaining rapid growth by acquiring competing companies
and integrating them into their network. PRISM 6.3
incorporates new features, including multiple bill
formats and multiple late processing rules, that facilitate
this process and enable individual companies to maintain
their own branding identity and payment policies.
