JAPANESE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE PROVIDER
KDDI SELECTS INOVAWARE

Tokyo, Japan 08/06/02 Inovaware Corporation,
a leading provider of billing and customer management

and telecommunication industry, today announced that
KDDI-OK, a subsidiary of Japanese carrier KDDI, has
implemented Inovaware's PRISM™ platform for its ISP
services.
The growth KDDI-OK has been experiencing over the
last year heightened the need to replace the outsourced
billing bureau and in-house legacy system the company
was using in favor of a more scalable, feature-rich
billing and customer care solution. the Japanese version
of PRISM offers scalability, flexibility, and Japan-specific
features to support local needs.
KDDI-OK had a very short implementation schedule
but was impressed by Inovaware's responsiveness and
ability to stick to their deadline. The company expects
PRISM to have a rapid impact on day-to-day operations
and bottom line by automating most the customer lifecycle.
The PRISM platform will also be extended beyond support
for ISP services to include cable IP and wireless
voice offerings.
