You must configure Promotions before you can map Market Areas to them. |
The Market Area / Promotion Mappings section is where you map market areas to promotions. This mapping process allows you to specify which promotions are available for each market area. For example, if you are offering only certain services to Business customers and other services to Residential customers, you would probably want to create a couple of promotions called "BUSINESS" and "RESIDENT" and map them to an appropriate Market Area such as "BUSINESS" and "RESIDENT" market areas.

We recommend that you configure a default Promotion and Market Area to accommodate the miscellaneous customers who may not fit a configured market area. |
· Market Area ID – use the drop down list to select a market area you already configured in Market Area configuration. This field specifies the market area to which you want to map the promotion.
· Promotion ID – again, use the drop down list to select a promotion you should already have configured in Promotion configuration. This field specifies the promotion to be used by the selected market area.
